Enable multi-currency
Invoice in USD or GBP while your books stay in your base currency.
Work with clients across currencies without changing your accounting base. Once enabled, you'll invoice in any currency you choose while all reports and balances stay anchored to your home currency.
This is especially useful if you serve international clients or operate in multiple markets — you keep one clean set of books, but each invoice reflects the currency your client uses.
Open Settings in the sidebar.
Turn on Multi-currency. Your base currency is locked once transactions exist.
Your base currency is permanent once you record any transactions, so choose carefully if you're just starting out.
Choose the currencies you trade in. Rates refresh daily from the ECB.
Exchange rates update automatically each day from the ECB, so your multi-currency reports always reflect current market rates.
Click Enable multi-currency. Invoices gain a currency picker and reports convert at the daily rate.
From now on, every new invoice will include a currency dropdown — pick the currency that matches your client's agreement, and all conversions happen at today's rate.
What's next
With multi-currency enabled, create your first invoice and select the currency your client needs.
You can also check your multi-currency reports anytime to see balances and totals converted at the daily rate.
