Send an e-prescription
Prescribing electronically is safe and quick — interaction checks and pharmacy routing are built right in.
Send prescriptions directly to the pharmacy without paper or phone calls. Your patient gets their medication faster, and you get built-in safety checks that catch drug interactions and allergies before the prescription leaves your desk.
Open Prescriptions in the sidebar to get started.
Click New prescription to begin.
Search for the medication — dose forms and common sigs are suggested as you type.
Confirm the sig — quantity and refills default from the medication, but you can adjust them anytime.
Click Send to pharmacy — interaction and allergy checks run first, and this one is clear to send.
What's next
Once your prescription is sent, the pharmacy receives it electronically and can begin filling it right away. Check back in Prescriptions to track status or make changes if needed.
