Order a lab test
Ordering a lab is simple — send it electronically and the results come back into the chart automatically.
You can place a lab order directly from the chart and send it electronically to any partner draw site. Your patient walks in with just their name and date of birth, and results flow back into their record automatically — no manual entry needed.
Open Labs in the sidebar to get started.
Click New lab order to begin.
Choose the panel — your favorites and specialty order sets appear first to save you a search.
Favorites and order sets are curated for your specialty, so the most common panels appear at the top.
Click Send order — the patient can walk into any partner draw site with just their name and DOB. That's it!
The order is transmitted immediately to the partner network and the patient receives confirmation of where they can go.
What's next
Once results arrive, you'll see them in the chart and can review them with your patient at the next visit.
