Add your first sample

Let's register a sample together — it only takes a minute, and you can edit any detail later, so there's no pressure to get everything perfect now.

Give your sample an ID and choose its assay — this tells Basepair which pipelines to suggest later.

Pick the reference genome. Not sure? GRCh38 is a safe default, and you can change it before any run.

Click Save sample — and that's it, you're set up. If something looks off, just reopen the sample and adjust; nothing is locked in.
